Pipeline take-up
& removal
Pipeline in the ground, exposed, taken up and recovered — with the right-of-way restored behind the crew.

A field project, not a
paperwork exercise.
When a line comes out of service somebody has to expose it, cut it, lift it, haul it and put the right-of-way back. We do that work with our own crews and equipment — and on lines carrying coatings other contractors will not touch.
Because we clean pipe ourselves, coated pipe is not an obstacle to the schedule. One contract can cover excavation, take-up, coating removal, recovery and disposition, so the material moves once and the documentation stays in one place.
Ground to finished site
Locate & expose
The line is located and the working area opened up along the right-of-way.
Cut & take up
Cut into handling lengths and lifted clear of the ditch.
Handle & haul
Loaded onto trucks and moved to the yard or the cleaning line.
Clean & recover
Coatings removed, pipe tallied and graded for reuse or sale.
Restore the site
Backfill, clean-up and close-out documentation.
What we perform on these projects
Pipeline take-up
Locating, exposing, cutting and lifting line pipe out of the ditch in handling lengths.
Pipeline removal
Full removal of the line from the right-of-way, including loadout and haul.
Excavation
Opening the working area, exposing the line and backfilling behind the crew.
Material handling
Rigging, lifting and staging recovered joints without further damaging the steel.
Loading & transportation
Loadout and haul handled by us, so the material moves once.
Pipe recovery
Sorting, tallying and grading recovered pipe so it can be sold rather than scrapped.
Right-of-way clean-up
Restoration of the working area and clean-up behind the spread.
Coating removal in line
Coal tar enamel and epoxy removed by our own equipment, so coated pipe does not stall the job.
